Over £9000 raised for Childrens Cancer Unit Charity at ‘The Tech Crowd Quiz Night’

Aflac Northern Ireland proudly hosted the inagural ‘The Tech Crowd Quiz Night’ in the Black Box, that encouraged the local tech community to join in a speedquiz, raise money and of course have some quack along the way! The night was a roaring success, with teams battling it out to win the coveted cup, with Allstate clinching the title at the end!

Between the raffle (with lots of great generously donated prizes) entry and donations on the night we raised a fantastic £9500 for our amazing charity partner, The Children’s Cancer Unit Charity.

At Aflac Northern Ireland giving back to the community around us isn’t just nice thing to do, it’s a core part of who we are, so we’re continuing to focus our fundraising efforts in support of our amazing charity partner, The Children's Cancer Unit Charity. Between 60 – 70 children are diagnosed with cancer every year and every child will visit the Children’s Cancer Unit during their treatment journey, as it is the only facility in Northern Ireland providing specialist cancer care for children.

We had a great night and are looking forward to our winners hosting the event next year!
