Aflac NI Digital Services, delivers a range of technical capabilities to Aflac in the US.

Providing a frictionless digital experience for our customers and policyholders in their time of need, as well as supporting field agents with onboarding, selling & servicing their policy holder accounts.

Our Digital services team is arranged into 3 Engineering practices;
Data Engineering, Automation & Workflow Engineering and Web & Mobile Engineering. We also have embedded teams that work across and alongside these 3 practices.

Automation &
Workflow Engineering

We’re combining low-code application development with seamless integration to front and back end systems, bringing smart automation to the whole business. Our goal is to streamline workflows and build flexible, reusable solutions that scale as we grow.


We design and deliver data-driven software engineering and data science solutions. We leverage engineering principles and best practice to innovate and modernise Aflac’s applications, data and cloud-based solutions to meet the evolving needs of our customers and policyholders.

  • We are the first line of defence for incident management for all Aflac NI applications. Providing production support & monitoring expertise to ensure that our applications are built with stability, supportability, capacity and resiliency in mind.

  • We focus on seamlessly integrating people, processes, and techology to drive continuous improvement and fast, high-quality software delivery. Emphasising automation and standardisation, we empower teams to self-serve through our internal platform and enhance developer productivity and compliance.

  • We aim to ‘build the right thing’, to meet the needs of our business & most importantly, our policyholders & agents. We take the time to talk to all our different users to truly understand how we can effectively connect their experiences through technology. This process focuses on collaboration to create outcome-based roadmaps with measurable outcomes to align user experience with our underlying platform & data strategies.
